The Agency Health Liaison Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff who manage client, agency, and union interactions related to the administration of the City’s self-funded health insurance plan.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise health liaisons working with agency benefits offices, payroll units, and insurance carriers on eligibility and claims payments under the NYCE PPO.
Direct staff assisting employees with navigating Employee Self Service (ESS) and health benefits application forms.
Monitor liaison activities involving Agency HR offices, unions, and active employees.
Conduct ongoing training for staff assigned to the liaison unit.
Manage personnel responsibilities, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
