Job Description
The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) is seeking a Supervising Major Case Analyst to support complex investigations and prosecutions within a Trial Bureau. In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with the Director of the Analyst Program and Trial Bureau leadership to oversee and enhance the analytical work of bureau analysts. The Supervising Major Case Analyst will also support officewide training initiatives, serve as a subject matter expert on emerging investigative techniques, and collaborate with Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) to strengthen complex criminal cases and long-term investigations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervise and oversee the analytical work of analysts assigned to the Trial Bureau, including conducting regular check-ins, reviewing work products, supporting new hire training, and collaborating with bureau leadership to identify and address analytical needs.
Support administrative supervisors, as appropriate, by assisting with monitoring work activities, facilitating communication, and escalating issues related to expectations and performance for administrative and investigative staff.
